Spring Parang Classes

Parang is a popular folk music which originated in Trinidad and Tobago and is practiced throughout the Caribbean. Our classes give participants the opportunity to learn to play the ukulele, cuatro, guitar or selection of percussion instruments. Classes are 2 hours every other Sunday. Class times are 1:00-3:00 pm. Class is ideal for ages 15 years+.

• March 23
• April 6, 13 (note these are back-to-back)
• April 20 – NO CLASSES; Easter Sunday
• April 27 & May 4 (note these are back-to-back)
• May 11 – NO CLASSES; Mother’s Day
• May 18 – NO CLASSES; Victoria Day weekend
• May 25 & June 1 (note these are back-to-back)
• June 8 – Spring Concert – Black Box Theatre (1:30-3:00 pm)
