Leaders in Training (LIT) Program

The Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton’s Leaders in Training (LIT) program is designed for youth aged 12-15 who have aged out of camp but are not yet eligible for employment. This program is open to all youth in Halton Region for a fee of $35. The primary focus is to empower youth by developing their leadership skills, with the goal of becoming camp counselors. Volunteer placements will take place at the CCAH Day Camp, which serves racialized and marginalized families in Halton Region. Space is limited to 10 youth per session.
 

Program Details:

Option 1: Training from July 14-18, followed by volunteer placement from July 21-25

Option 2: Training from July 28 – August 1, followed by volunteer placement from August 5-8
