CCAH Leaders in Training 2024
The Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton’s Leaders in Training (LIT) program is for youth aged 12-15 years who have aged out of camp but are still too young to be employed. Our program is open to all youth living in Halton Region at no cost. The focus is on empowering youth to build leadership skills towards becoming a camp counsellor. Volunteer placement will be at the CCAH Day Camp that is designed for racialized and marginalized families living in Halton Region. Space is limited to 10 youth per session. Session 1: Training July 15-19 AND volunteering July 22-26 (general hours 9 am – 4 pm)
Session 2: Training August 6-9 AND volunteering August 12-16 (general hours 9 am – 4 pm)
