We especially want to give recognition this month to Colin Delevante who has faithfully volunteered his time and energy over several years to CCAH and locally in Oakville. 🌟 A Night to Remember – May Soirée 2025 🌟 🌟 A Night to Remember – May Soirée 2025 🌟
On behalf of the Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton, thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable evening of unity, recognition, and celebration at our annual May Soirée!

From start to finish, the night was filled with joy, laughter, and pride. We were honoured by the presence of Mayor Rob Burton, whose thoughtful words reminded us of the power of community, and Dr. Rosemary Sadlier, whose remarks grounded the evening in history, legacy, and purpose.

The musical performance by the incomparable Eddie Bullen brought energy and elegance to the room—an unforgettable soundtrack to an unforgettable night. And of course, the delicious offerings from Open Appetite Catering elevated the entire experience. Their flavours brought everyone to the table—literally and figuratively. And the lively MC Lesley Ann Forbes kept us all entertained all evening.

🎉 A special congratulations to our 2025 award recipients, whose dedication and impact inspire us all:
🏅 Eileen Gallagher – for outstanding contributions to Education
🏅 Curtis Ennis – for leadership and service in the Community
🏅 Dennis Scott – for enriching our shared Culture
🏅 Keith Nakahara – for fostering Harmony in everything he does

This event is more than just a night out—it’s a celebration of Caribbean excellence in Halton and a reflection of the strength we build when we come together.

For everyone who attended we would appreciate it if you please take 20 seconds to complete our survey: https://forms.gle/E9TkofDyYJorXg1UA
