Dr. Rosemary Sadlier, Order of Ontario appointee and renowned diversity, inclusion, and equity consultant, social justice advocate, researcher, writer and international speaker, will be joining us as the keynote speaker. She has spent most of career championing for representation through education of black Canadian heritage and culture and has even produced films and tv series to highligh Black Canadian stories.
Entertainment includes Juno Award Winning jazz pianist, composer, arranger and producerEddie Bullen. Arranger The Grenadian artist who immigrated to Toronto in 1980, has had an illustrious career making producing over 150 albums as an artist and for television and film. His style is a mixture of contemporary jazz with a Caribbean twist.

Capping off the evening will be a fun night of dancing accompanied by DJ Glen Als.
A Taste of the Caribbean
4 course dinner featuring delicious and eclectic Afro-Caribbean dishes from local caterer D Hot Shoppe Gabriel and Simone Louhingboth immigrated to Canada from Trinidad in the mid-2000s and opened-up a successful restaurant in Burlington. They prepare their roti in unique way that prevents it from drying out. They were even featured in an article on CBC News. We hope you enjoy their lovely Indo and Afro-Caribbean cuisine.
